Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Luckator LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates www.luckator.com (the “Site”) and related services (together, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

The Service is intended for users in the United States. It lets users create an account with an email address, optionally purchase a recurring paid subscription, and search a directory of lottery retailers by location or ZIP code. The directory may include publicly available retailer information and associated prize amounts paid out at those locations over a stated period.

By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Luckator LLC

2. Information we collect

A. Information you give us

  • Account information: email address; password (stored in hashed form); display name if you provide one.
  • Subscription and billing details: name, billing email, billing ZIP/postal code, subscription plan, renewal dates, and payment status.
  • Search inputs: ZIP code, city, or other location you enter to find retailers.
  • Communications: messages you send us for support or feedback.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you opt in or out of promotional emails.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, lottery ticket numbers, or winner claim documents.

B. Information collected automatically

  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, dates and times, and approximate location derived from IP address.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8).
  • Device location, if you choose “use my location” for a nearby-retailer search.

C. Information from payment processors

If you buy a subscription, a third-party processor such as Stripe collects payment card or wallet details directly. We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes on our servers. We may receive limited billing information, such as last four digits, card brand, billing ZIP, transaction ID, subscription status, invoices, refunds, and chargebacks.

See the processor’s privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy

D. Lottery retailer and prize information

The Service shows lottery retail locations and associated prize money paid out over a time period. That information comes from public sources, such as official lottery data and other published records. It describes business locations and publicly reported or aggregate payouts. It is not a record of your personal lottery activity.

We do not use this directory to identify you as a winner. We do not collect or publish your name as a prizewinner through this Service.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and maintain your account.
  • Provide retailer search results based on ZIP code or location.
  • Process, renew, cancel, and support paid subscriptions.
  • Send service emails, including account verification, receipts, renewal notices, and security alerts.
  • Send marketing emails if you opt in, or as otherwise allowed by U.S. law. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Service, including diagnosing errors and preventing fraud or abuse.
  • Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and users.

We do not use retailer prize data to profile you as a gambler. We do not sell your search history as a standalone product.

4. Location and ZIP code

  • A ZIP code or city you type is used to return matching or nearby retailers. We may store recent searches in your account or session so the Service works as expected.
  • Device location is used only if you choose that option. You can turn it off in your browser or device settings.
  • We do not track your GPS on an ongoing basis. We do not sell precise geolocation.
  • We may keep de-identified search totals, such as how often a ZIP code was searched, that cannot reasonably identify you.

Do not submit another person’s location unless you have a lawful reason to do so.

5. Paid subscriptions

  • Recurring billing is handled by our payment processor.
  • We keep records needed to run the subscription, including plan type, renewal date, payment status, invoices, and support history.
  • You may cancel using the method shown at checkout and in your account. Canceling stops future charges. It does not automatically erase billing records we may need to keep for taxes, accounting, or disputes.
  • Refunds, chargebacks, and fraud reviews may require sharing limited account and transaction information with the processor and financial institutions.

6. Email

We use your email to:

  1. Create and secure your account.
  2. Send service messages needed to operate your account or subscription.
  3. Send optional marketing only if you opt in, or as otherwise allowed by law.

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Service emails, such as receipts, password resets, and legal notices, may still be sent while your account or a billing relationship exists.

7. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money.

We share personal information only as follows:

  • Service providers that help us run the Service, such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, customer support, payment processing, security, and error monitoring. They are allowed to use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Payment processors and banks, to charge, refund, and prevent fraud.
  • Professional advisors, such as lawyers and accountants, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and safety disclosures, if required by law or court order, or to protect the rights, security, or integrity of users or the Service.
  • A buyer or successor if we merge, sell, or reorganize the business. That party will be expected to honor this Policy or provide equivalent protection.

Retailer directory content may be shown to visitors or subscribers as part of the Service. That content is public business information, not your personal information.

If we ever “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California or other state privacy laws (including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising), we will disclose that here and provide an opt-out.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use:

  • Essential cookies for login, security, load balancing, and subscription status.
  • Preference cookies, such as remembering a recent ZIP code search.
  • Analytics tools, if enabled.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may break sign-in or checkout.

9. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, unless a longer period is required by law.

Typical periods:

  • Account data: while your account is open, then up to 12 months after deletion unless needed for a dispute.
  • Billing and tax records: 7 years, or as required by law.
  • Support emails: up to 24 months.
  • Server logs: typically 30–90 days, longer if we are investigating abuse.
  • Precise device location: not kept after the search session unless you save a location in your account.
  • Saved ZIP searches: until you delete them or close your account.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls, and contracts with service providers. No online service is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

11. Your privacy rights (U.S.)

Depending on the state where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • Access a copy of your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions such as billing and tax records.
  • Opt out of the sale of personal information or sharing for targeted advertising, if we engage in those activities.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information, if applicable.
  • Appeal a denied request, where state law provides that right.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

Our current practices. We collect the categories described in Section 2. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we update this Policy and offer an opt-out. We use location and payment-related information only as needed to provide the Service, process subscriptions, prevent fraud, and comply with law.

To make a request, email Luckator.support@gmail.com from the address on your account. We will verify your identity before fulfilling the request. You may use an authorized agent where state law allows it. If we deny a request and your state gives you an appeal right, reply to our decision and ask for an appeal.

If you are a California resident, this Policy is also intended to serve as our notice at collection.

12. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Lottery-related content is intended for adults who are legally allowed to use that information in their state. The Service does not sell lottery tickets.

13. Third-party sites and official lotteries

The Site may link to maps, lottery commission websites, or other third-party pages. Those sites have their own privacy practices. We do not control official lottery operators and are not a state lottery, ticket vendor, or prize-claim agent.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. If a change is material, we will post the update on the Site and, when required, email the address on your account. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
